The world of music has changed because the world has changed. The measurement mechanisms from a decade ago are no longer valid today. At the same time that supply has increased, demand has decreased. Until the 90s, having a degree in music meant employability almost completely. Today, we cannot say the same.

What will a student of trumpet, piano, harp or singing, of composition or conducting, of pedagogy or musicology find in the future? In the absence of a crystal ball to give us an answer, the most likely reality is that they will not have a job. And yes, it sounds not very hopeful.

But far from showing a dystopian future where music is no longer useful, we must look at the present as an opportunity so that in a few years our young musicians, in addition to being graduated, multi-mastered and with real employability options, have training that allows them to differentiate themselves, where merit is based on effort and a straight path of educational possibilities.

| musiqaa | allows you to choose your future since it has established a collaboration agreement with the Centro Superior de Música de Galicia (CSM) adjusted to the new regulations for the creation of Campus de las Artes to promote, facilitate and bring closer higher music studies in accordance with the most advanced educational canons.

| musiqaa | es un proyecto de Juan F. Ballesteros, director de orquesta, coro y banda, compositor, pianista y productor musical. Ha sido quien ha llevado a la universidad por primera vez en nuestro país las áreas de direccion de banda y direccion de coro. Es gerente y principal director de la Jove Orquestra de les Illes Balears (JOIB) y  de la Banda de Dones de Catalunya. Especialista en marketing musical y escritor.

1. Las pruebas específicas de acceso se desarrollarán de acuerdo a lo establecido en el artículo 5 del Decreto 163/2015, del 29 de octubre (DOG del 16 de noviembre) para todas las especialidades excepto para la de Dirección, que se desarrollará de acuerdo a lo establecido en el artículo 5 del Decreto 171/2016, del 24 de noviembre (DOG del 12 de diciembre); por supuesto siempre de acuerdo a lo establecido en los artículos 3, 4, 5, 8 y 9 de la Orden del 21 de noviembre de 2016 por la que se regula la ordenación de las enseñanzas artísticas superiores de Música (DOG del 1 de diciembre).

2. La inscripción para participar en las pruebas de la convocatoria ordinaria se realizará mediante formulario, en esta misma página, hasta el 20 de junio de 2025.

3. Las pruebas de acceso tendrán lugar en el CSM Galicia (Lugar de Ferreirós, 1 A; Cordeiro – 36647 Valga; provincia de Pontevedra), los días 3 e 4 de julio de 9:00 a 15:00 horas.
